HSE staff have been through very challenging times in the last two years with ongoing Covid, the cyber-attack and continued demands on the service. It is important that staff are aware that there is support available to them through the Employee Assistance Programme.
The services EAP provides are as follows:
- Counselling
- Consultation to managers on staff wellbeing and psychosocial issues
- Critical Incident Stress Management [CISM] Response – individual and group support.
- Workshops on staff wellbeing issues
Staff can self-refer to the service by contacting our national phone line number 0818-327327. Managers can also make referrals via the referral form available on the HSE website. Our external counselling provider Inspire Workplaces can also be contactable on the same national phone line number.
The HSE Employee Assistance Programme is available to all staff from Monday to Thursday 09:00 to 16:30 on 087 9979467. In addition staff may contact the Staffcare 24/7 Counselling Careline on 1800 409388.
